Understanding the Power that Brings Salvation;
The word faith is one of the most commonly used terms among believers, yet many people misunderstand what it truly means.
Faith is not the same as natural belief. When someone believes they will buy a plot of land at the end of the year because they have a monthly salary, that is human belief—it is based on visible factors and predictable outcomes.
But faith goes far beyond this. Faith is spiritual, powerful, and supernatural. This is why I use the word “Dynamic”—because faith is not passive; it is active, explosive, and life-changing.
1. The Word “Dynamic”: Its Meaning and Depth;
The word dynamic comes from the Greek word “dunamis” (δύναμις), which means:
- Power
- Ability
- Force
- Strength
- Mighty, miraculous power
It is the same root used for the English word “dynamite.”
Just as dynamite carries explosive force depending on what materials are used, faith carries divine power because its source is God Himself.
